Waspes API, Developer Portal & Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server

Connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or custom autonomous agents to the official Waspes Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://waspes.com/api/mcp (versioned: https://waspes.com/api/v1/mcp) to generate complete websites, standalone HTML contact forms, master prompts, and textured 3D / Roblox Studio models programmatically.

1. Endpoints, Discovery & OpenAPI Specification

2. Authentication & Sandbox Environment

Authenticate requests using a Waspes API key (wsp_live_...) via the HTTP header Authorization: Bearer wsp_live_... or X-API-Key: wsp_live_..., or via OAuth 2.1 Authorization Code + PKCE. For instant testing, start_website, get_website, and generate_website also support an unauthenticated sandbox mode with daily demo quotas.

curl -sS https://waspes.com/api/v1/mcp -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Authorization: Bearer wsp_live_YOUR_API_KEY" -H "X-API-Version: 2026-10-24" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"start_website","arguments":{"brief":"Modern AI SaaS landing page with pricing and contact form","style":"glassmorphism"}}}'

3. Available MCP Tools (8 Tools) & Resources

  • start_website & get_website — Recommended asynchronous workflow for generating full-stack responsive HTML5/CSS/JS websites in ~60–120 seconds without client timeouts.
  • generate_website — Synchronous single-call website generator returning self-contained HTML5.
  • generate_form — Generates a standalone HTML contact/booking form wired for email delivery with double opt-in.
  • generate_master_prompt — Expands a short product idea into a comprehensive architectural specification.
  • list_3d_models, connect_roblox, send_to_roblox — List generated 3D assets and stream textured MeshParts directly into Roblox Studio.

4. Versioning, Rate Limits & Typed Error Model

Waspes supports URL path versioning (/api/v1/mcp) and header versioning (X-API-Version: 2026-10-24) with a 90-day Deprecation / Sunset policy. Responses include standard RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, and RateLimit-Reset headers (60 req/min default). All errors return structured JSON containing machine-readable code, human-readable message, and actionable resolution fields.
